Mortgage Refinance Options
Refinancing replaces an existing mortgage with a new loan. Your goals may include changing your interest rate or loan term, accessing available home equity, or exploring alternative financing for an investment property.
Refinance options include:
- Rate and term refinance: Explore a new interest rate, repayment term, or loan structure.
- Cash-out refinance: Use available equity to obtain funds at closing, subject to lender requirements.
- Hard money refinance: Explore property-focused financing for real estate investment needs.
Your available options depend on your equity, property, credit profile, documentation, and lender guidelines.
Program information is subject to lender guidelines, eligibility, and change. Contact LendEase to confirm the options available for your situation.
Start with your refinance goal
Do you want to change your rate or repayment term, access equity, or explore a property-focused alternative? Those goals can lead to different programs. Review the dedicated rate and term, cash-out and hard money refinance guides, then discuss which scenarios fit your property and qualifications.
Compare your existing and proposed loans
Consider the remaining balance and term, new loan amount, monthly payment, closing costs and total interest over the repayment period. A lower payment can result from extending the term rather than lowering the overall borrowing cost. Ask how long it may take for potential savings to offset transaction costs.
What if traditional documents do not fit?
Tell LendEase which income or asset records are available. Alternative-documentation options depend on the lender, occupancy, loan purpose and borrower profile. Neither an existing mortgage nor equity alone guarantees refinance approval.
